Part A · Setup

Set up the board.

The box IS the board. Unfold, sort, and you're ready to play in minutes.

  1. 01

    Unbox & unfold

    Take out the cards and tokens, then carefully unfold the box into six panels laid in a horizontal line.

  2. 02

    Sort the levels

    Leave the far-left panel empty — that's your discard pile. Place the five card stacks face-down on the remaining panels: Level I Foundation next to the discard panel, through Level V Mastery on the far right.

  3. 03

    Set the tokens

    Place the topic token to the right of Level V. Shuffle the 5 game tokens face-down; they start unclaimed.

  4. 04

    Add more topics

    Playing a Series? Stack additional topics in rows using any other 5Pillars cubes you own.

Part B · Gameplay

Take your turn.

Pick a topic, pick a level, answer the card. Simple loop — but the tokens change everything.

  1. 01

    Solo or teams

    Decide whether you'll play individually or split into teams. Play moves anti-clockwise.

  2. 02

    Pick a question

    On your turn, choose a topic and a difficulty level. The player to your left draws the top card and reads it aloud.

  3. 03

    Answer the card

    Right answer? Keep the card in front of you. Wrong answer? It goes face-down on the discard panel for that topic.

  4. 04

    Play a game token

    After your question — right or wrong — you may either play a token you already hold or draw a new one from the unclaimed pool.

  5. 05

    Out of cards?

    If a stack runs out, shuffle that level's discarded cards and restock the stack.

  6. 06

    Win the topic

    The first player or team to collect all 5 difficulty levels for a topic claims that topic's token — if you complete all five levels but weren't first, there's no topic token left to claim.

The 5 game tokens.

Tokens add the twists. After each question, either play one you hold or draw a new one. Once played, tokens return to the unclaimed pool.
